Killflash Optic Cover

Designed to reduce glare and reflections while also protecting your glass from scratches caused by debris and branches. It’s secured with an elastic cord and a cord lock, ensuring a snug, universal fit for various optic shapes – it can also be quickly removed and reattached.

We tested the cover with a camera (Sony A7IV + Sigma 500mm f/4) at higher magnification, and it showed no major impact on the sight picture. In the last images, you can see that the Hexagon Mesh cover keeps the image nice and sharp, with just a bit of brightness loss in low-light situations. In daylight or outdoors, the difference is negligible. Special thanks to Leon Margraf for providing these photographs.

Hexagon Mesh Style

Almost no interference with the sight picture, making it the least obstructive option – however, it offers a lower level of glare protection.

Slit Style

For maximum glare reduction, this style is ideal, though it does slightly reduce your optic’s Eyebox – in other words, you might need to be more precise about eye placement on the Eyecup.
